Printable Pretend Money - How To Make Your Own
It's obviously illegal to make copies of real money but making pretend money by printing it is not. Parents often use pretend money all of the time for their children's education, game playing and fantasy betting as well as pretend poker money. It's ok to print money as long as it's a different size than the real thing.
That's why you often see very large or very small bills that have all the same exact look and feel of a normal sized one. If you want to print pretend money, follow the steps below and you shouldn't have any trouble.
Find a website such as www.freestuff4kids.net on the internet and select between the bills you want to print from the samples that are provided.
After you make your selection printable pretend money selection, download your denomination of choice. Choose save to disk and make sure you know where you have saved the file so you can find and print it.
Try using colored paper and setting your printer to black and white to save ink when you print pretend money. I recommend printing a few pages of each denomination so you can have a working amount of pretend money to play with.
Another tip is to use light construction paper. Your pretend money will last longer if you use heavier printing stock.
